Essay #2  must be typed, 12 point type, font (if you use PC: Times New Roman; if you use Apple: Helvetica), double-spaced, margins must be set at 1-inch (top, bottom, left, & right). Staple the cover page to the 2 1/2-page paper. Also, do not decorate your papers with any graphics.  Do not place in a folder of any kind.

Spelling and grammar are important!  

Use your class-suggested Dictionary, Thesaurus, and Grammar books.

Use spell-check and grammar-check functions on your computer software writing program to assist you in the prevention and elimination of writing problems.

SAVE A COPY of your essay on disc and hard drive.

What was it about each novel that inspired you?

What was it about each novel that troubled you?

What were the authors trying to teach you (the reader) through the novels?

(Your essay must contain a minimum of fifteen 15 vocabulary words!  Also, include your personal observations, analysis, and commentary related to this subject).
