Since 1991, Harry Gamboa Jr. has photographed more than 125 men for his ongoing B&W photography Chicano Male Unbonded series.

This series has been presented at:  International Center for Photography (2003, New York, NY), Smithsonian Institution (1997, Washinton D.C.), Phoenix Art Museum (1993, Phoenix, AZ), Photo Fest (1994, Houston, TX), Otis/Parsons Gallery (1992, Los Angeles, CA), and will be exhibited at The Huntington Library (2008, San Marino, CA).

The series has been featured in:  Art in America, Los Angeles Times, Zoom (Milan), Albuquerque Journal, and Poliester (Mexico City) .

Release agreements have been secured by artist with individuals portrayed in all for-sale photographs.
